MYOB Acumatica v2025 ‘Spring Release’
MYOB is well underway upgrading sites to the v2025 ‘Spring Release’. In addition to introducing the first AI features in the application (see below), the v2025 release includes hundreds of new features, such as:
Automated generation of Payment Receipts
Improved Serial and Lot Number support
Easier correction of PO Receipts
Enhanced due date tracking on POs
Improved receiving of items into a Warehouse via scanning
Better tracking of Project-specific inventory
Enhancements to Project Pro-forma invoices and Cost Project functionality
Improved Address formats
And much more

Try the latest features in a free trial
Sites upgraded to v2025 can choose to enable the new AI features, including Accounts Payable and Expense Automation. These bring OCR translation and automatic posting of Supplier Invoices and Expense Receipts natively into MYOB Acumatica, removing the previous need for third-party add-ons.
Usage fees apply based on the number of pages processed, but MYOB is offering a trial period with no charges until 28 February 2026. Now is the perfect time to explore these features for those sites that have been upgraded.

OData connection assistance
Many of our clients use OData to dynamically connect the MYOB Acumatica application to MS Excel and/or Power BI for flexible and efficient reporting. The MYOB Acumatica v2025 Release includes changes that will require minor amendments to your OData connections to ensure they remain compliant.

Increased resources for optimal performance
With the success of MYOB Acumatica as the most deployed mid-range ERP application across Australia and New Zealand, there are now businesses of all shapes and sizes using this flexible application. Some of these businesses, due to their demands on the system, may benefit from having more processing resources allocated to ensure the smooth operation of their Acumatica site. MYOB has therefore recently formalised the availability of different Resource Tiers that sites can be allocated to, ensuring they are powered by the level of resources that maintains optimum performance.
Helm now has access to telemetry that enables us to monitor our client sites more closely and identify any that are performing below optimum. In those cases, we will contact you to discuss what options may be available to regain the expected performance level for your system.

Shift from legacy to MYOB Acumatica Payroll
The Helm team is finalising migration to the MYOB Acumatica Payroll application. In the new year, we will begin assisting clients who wish to move from legacy payroll systems to MYOB’s cloud-based solution.
MYOB Acumatica Payroll can operate as a stand-alone system or as a fully integrated module within the MYOB Acumatica ERP, meeting all statutory payroll requirements and offering flexible reporting and management options.
