You may have recently received communications from MYOB about the amount of storage being used by your MYOB Acumatica site, or seen a notification about storage usage appear within your Acumatica application.
As Acumatica sites accumulate business data over time, storage usage naturally increases. MYOB is now introducing changes to how storage entitlements are managed, with subscriptions being aligned to actual storage usage from 1 September 2026.
This means it is important to understand how much storage your site is currently using, what your storage entitlement is, and what action may be required if your site is operating above its allowance.
What is included in your storage?
Each MYOB Acumatica site includes a standard storage entitlement as part of the monthly license subscription. The amount of storage depends on the MYOB Acumatica Edition that you are licensed for.
Your storage utilisation includes the likes of:
Business transaction data
Customer and supplier records
Inventory and operational records
Financial history
Attachments and documents
Imported data and system-generated records
How much storage are you using?
You can check your site's current storage usage in real time through the License Maintenance screen within MYOB Acumatica.
In excess of your storage limit?
If your site is using more storage than your current entitlement, there are options available.
Contact the Helm Support team to work together to review and reduce your storage usage where possible, and/or
Increase your allowed storage entitlement (in increments of 10GB) at the following rates:
Usage Billing Alignment from 1 Sep 2026
To date, MYOB has not enforced additional charges for sites operating above their subscribed storage allowance.
From 1 September 2026, MYOB will begin aligning client subscriptions with actual storage usage, ensuring that each site has the appropriate storage entitlement for the amount of data it holds.
If your site is currently using more storage than your subscribed allowance, MYOB will notify you before any additional charges are applied.
Helm will also proactively contact clients where we are aware their site may be over its current storage allowance. We can then work with you to review your storage usage and identify opportunities to reduce it where appropriate, or discuss increasing your storage entitlement if required.
